The talented Zandisiwe Maphalala represented KZN and received a Gold Medal award for her project.

Selected students from 35 Expo Regions in South Africa compete annually against the best young scientists from around the country and the world, at the prestigious Eskom Expo for Young Scientists International Science Fair.
Zandisiwe Maphalala, a learner from Ichthus Christian School, was one of the learners selected to represent Northern KwaZulu Natal this year.
