A splash of Holi colour for Glencoe

The air was filled with the scrumptious smell of breyani, the sound of music and the sight of bright colours being thrown about at the annual Holi festival.
The Holi Festival, also known as the festival of colours, was held at the Glencoe Primary (Violet) school grounds and was a huge success.
The festival of Holi signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh and to forgive and forget.
It is also celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest.
Crowds gathered to celebrate in good old colourful style
