Great learning experience at Sarel Cilliers Prefect Camp

On January 18, 40 grade 12 prefects from Sarel Cilliers embarked on a wonderful and exciting journey. Glenrock in Mooirivier was our destination.
Although we were unsure of what to expect we remained positive and were looking forward to improving our interpersonal skills and intellect. This journey was the start of our lesson on how to be strong leaders at school.
The aim of the prefect camp was to help us discover the power of our own potential. We learned the importance of working together, trusting one another and most importantly, planning: Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance.
There was a range of indoors and outdoors activities. Prefects were able to unlock their communication skills, and creative thinking, and work as a team.
I must admit the camp was absolutely enthralling and it definitely boosted our self-confidence. Much gratitude to the teachers who accompanied us, as well as Mr Van Staden for allowing us the opportunity to attend.
