DHS starts third term on a winning streak

DHS top achievers for second term
Well done to the following learners for obtaining the highest term averages in their respective grades. They are true examples that hard work and diligence always pays off. In Grade 8 Julia Bohmer 91%, Grade 9 Stefan Thom 90%, Grade 10 Sisanda Thango 89%, Grade 11 Keshmiel Govender and Karl Thom 91% and Grade 12 Kwenzokuhle Zondo 88%.

 

Hope Mkhize – DHS’s boxing star
On July 29 Hope attended a Youth and Junior Boxing Tournament in Ladysmith. She received a silver medal. Well done Hope, we are very proud of you!
Megan Peddie – ballet princess
On August 1, Megan took part in the Eisteddfod in Newcastle. She received 80% for Ballet. Congratulations Megan!


EXPO
On August 4, nine learners went to Ladysmith to take part in the EXPO. They were brilliant and DHS is very proud of them. Congratulations to the following learners:
Ajaz Bhula received bronze, Laura Lukele received silver and Shaquel Tontpal received gold. Krushil Sewmangal received gold as well as The Renewable Energy Reward.
Shaquel and Krushil will attend a meeting in Ladysmith next Saturday to finalise the South-African EXPO Team.

Lwazi Nene and Sizwe Malakoane were chosen for the Endumeni cross country team.

Cross Country
Lwazi Nene and Sizwe Malakoane were chosen for the Endumeni cross country team. They took part in the Umzinyathi Meeting on Saturday, August 5.
