Chess: Winter Sport Games
Four of our players took part in the Chess Tournament held this weekend at Kallies Stadium. There were 18 players in all. Congratulations to our team who played well, especially to Junior Mpofu who took first place and Khule Matela who came fourth. Thank you, Ash Khan, for a well-organised event which took place over three days.

DJS Netball Trials
On April 28, Dundee Junior School Netball girls (u/12 and u/13) played their hearts out at the Endumeni Netball trials, where five of them were selected to compete in the next round. On May 3, four of those girls were selected for the Umzinyathi Netball Team.

On Saturday, May 6, they competed for a spot in the KZN Netball team at Hoy Park in Durban. Unfortunately, after a very long day, and tough competition, the girls were not selected for the KZN team, but DJS are extremely proud of the girls.
